Padres' Clevinger Needs TJ Surgery, Out '21; Gets 2-yr Deal

Padres pitcher Mike Clevinger will miss the 2021 season because of Tommy John surgery, the team announced Monday after reaching agreement with the righthander on an $11.5 million, twoyear contract.
